We finished a 3 mile walk with 3 wet dogs and were made very welcome by the lady busy in the kitchen. Couldn’t have felt more welcome despite my doubts about taking the dogs in.Friends had sausage sandwiches and coffee whilst I opted for a delicious slice of cake and tea(served in a china cup) Because of the weather we sat inside in a quite small room but there were plenty of tables outdoors which would be lovely on a dry summer day.Will definitely go back in the summer and hope for a dry day! Felt so sorry as we left,leaving behind a very wet floor which was cleaned as soon as we left.Highly recommended for the cake alone!!

Lovely food, and excellent service. The only flaw was that we requested no peas on 2 seperate occasions and this was ignored both times, but it wasn't a big deal.
