Chaplin's Ice Cream & Coffee Bar, High St, RhosneigrBeen here a few times for ice cream & coffee in the past and it’s always been great. We recently passed by and noticed the breakfast menu. Upon enquiring, we were told we could bring our dog inside, no problem (the friendly lady working on the till even offered some doggy biscuits) £9.50 for a full breakfast including coffee, it was a tasty meal and great value for money. Seemed to be quite a decent cafe menu as well, all at a sensible price. A lot of the local establishments seem to have gone ‘upmarket’ and charge accordingly - it’s great to see there’s still room in the village for a friendly, old-school cafe, offering good quality food at a reasonable price. Looking forward to returning again.

CAFE NOTOS
4, Marine Terrace, High St, RhosneigrPerfect -- comprehensive list of teas and coffee. I had a lovely matcha latte with almond milk, no problem.The food was outstanding. Korean chicken salad with fresh and tasty vegetables, full of flavour. Decent portion size, too.The staff are lovely, and were very welcoming to our border collies. Will definitely return.

Beach Rd, RhosneigrFrom Liverpool we have a very large choice of takeaway and this is the best pizza from a takeaway we have ever had bar noneDefinitely use this place far better food and value than the overpriced fish and chip shop opposite which gives small portions and very expensiveAlso the chips are amazing from the pizza shopDefinitely will be useing the pizza shop again on are next visit top class keep it up

7 Marine Terrace, High Street, RhosneigrAbsolutely loved this place, the service and the decor. This is a cute little bar, cafe with a great atmosphere and nice food. A visit here was all part of an enjoyable holiday. We would highly recommend a breakfast ?

1 Beach Terrace, RhosneigrCalled mid afternoon. Extremely friendly staff (even brought the dogs a sausage each and a dish of water!) Ordered soup and paninies. Delicious, tasty, well presented and filling. So much so I had half my panni wrapped to take home. Would highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: None due to stairs

Starvation Bar & Kitchen
High St, RhosneigrWhat an atmosphere the staff create in this locally run bar and cafe. The staff create a happy buzzing at atmosphere whether the bar is full with everyone watching the Rugby World Cup or taking part in a Bavarian Oktoberfest evening, or even on a quiet mid week evening. Each time we visited in the last week we had a lovely welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the buzz - and we’re in our youthful 60’s.

High St, RhosneigrHi we have just been into SMH for dinner with friends, I've not been before but I was told to expect a pleasant meal in nice surroundings. Well I'm home now with a warm after cocktail glow and a memory of a meal the likes of which I've not had in quite a while. It was excellent.We only had a couple of starters between four, the meatballs and haddock tails. Both were hot, tasty and just the right amount of lightly battered fish to let my wife nick one and still have enough.I then had the salmon and the others had seafood spaghetti and two different types of burger. All the dishes arrived together, they were all steaming hot, wonderfully presented and perfectly cooked.Every dish was spot on, imaginative and wonderfully tasty. It was all served by very young looking staff who were efficient and unobtrusive. They tended table smoothly and without fuzz we couldn't fault them.Then I got the bill.I had to check. We had a mid range bottle of wine, four glasses of prosecco, two starters and four of the best plates of food we'd eaten in a long time and still had change out of £150!Go to this restaurant. Use it regularly if you can. Support it, cherish it they deserve to succeed and don't get upset it they put their prices up by a quid a dish it'll still be great value for money.6 stars if I could.

Scarlett’s Fish & Chip Shop Rhosneigr
Arfon House, High St, RhosneigrThe fish was excellent and cooked freshly for us. The batter was as fine and crispy as any tempura - and we have just returned from Japan! Chips were great and I can highly recommend.
