We had a takeaway supper from here. The fish was cooked to order so nice and fresh. Chips were good and from extensive choice on offer I opted for the Chicken Balti Pie. There is a small sit down restaurant next door serving the same food but unusually for a chippy it’s licensed!
We have used this Fish & Chip shop many times over the years and tonight's delivered was just not up to scratch. Those that had fish, noted that the fish and the batter had an unpleasant taste of pepper. If I want pepper on my food let me add it - there is no need to add it to either fish or a batter mix. Friendly staff, okay fish, very average chips.The place was easy to find. Got fish and chips. Service was fairly slow and the quality not wonderful. (Mind you I didn’t find much better in the UK.)It’s not too bad but not great.
