Barton Rd, Barton, MalpasJust had a super overnight stay. After a long day/journey the staff were very welcoming & made sure there was a place for me to eat my evening meal in the restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, very quiet and warm. Comfortable bed & a hot shower. Excellent meal at a very reasonable price & the prosecco was cold, hurrah! Breakfast was included in the price of the room & was quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel - eggs cooked to perfection, fresh fruit & proper bread. This will definitely be my choice next time I'm in the area. Just to say there is ample secure parking. A big thank you to the staff who were incredibly efficient & friendly.Rooms: Spacious, comfortable & a nice hot showerNearby activities: Beautiful part of the world. Good for access to north wales and Cheshire.Safety: I felt safe & secureFood & drinks: Nice menu with lots of choice including light bar snacks. Good choice of drinks and very reasonably priced

They also go out of their way to make customers feel valued and welcome.Also there is a fantastic variety of food and people with additional dietary requirements actually have an extensive and varied menu.The food is cooked to perfection and is absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Castle St, Holt, WrexhamThe staff here are very friendly and professional and with a very good choice of beer I've enjoyed the pilsner lager and then gone over to a couple of jars of Wrexham's finest.Parking: Little village community pub with plentiful street parking.Really isn't an issue and we've enjoyed tonight's festivities and our nominated driver had no issues

12 Church St, Holt, WrexhamPopped in for sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Super friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, beautiful decor and the food is AMAZING!! Haven't been there before and will definitely be going back. Cannot rate it any higher to be honest. Most of all, absolute value for money! Thankyou.

1a Castle St, Holt, WrexhamVisited Maggies twice whilst camping over the other side of the river, first time was for a coffee, the 2nd was for a breakfast. Lovely little cafe with lots on offer and a hub for the village with locals and out of towners visiting, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly, only problem was we ate outside and the wasps were all over us within minutes so I’d suggest eating inside

Met my mum there this morning for coffee and thought this would be all I was having after deciding to do veganuary. Very pleasantly surprised to find that they had some vegan cake options, so I had some of their vegan carrot cake. The tastiest cake I have had in a long time. Very satisfied. Service was brill as always, the ladies that work in there are always warm and welcoming. Thank you :)Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options :)
