Such a lovely comfortable venue on this dreary damp day. The food for our lunch meal was outstanding and of the very best quality. The fire was such a cheerful sight making a very cosy atmosphere. Dogs were welcome and were very well behaved. The young bar lady was exceptionally helpful and very friendly and the Chef must be of the very highest quality. My husband, daughter and I went for lunch on New Year's day. The service was very friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely amazing, I couldn't fault it. We were so overwhelmed by the taste that it was the quietest meal we've had in a long time. The thyme ice cream was like nothing I've ever tasted before, I hope it's on the menu when we go back.
