Fantastic little pub. Great beer and food. Lovely, old fashioned atmosphere and they let us sleep in our van in the car park as we'd had a meal. WCs open all night too. Will definitely be back - although hopefully next time Grimsby will beat Wrexham ?.
A Wonderful location set in the Welsh Dee Valley, surrounded by fields and Mountains in the Back Ground, I believe it is called velvet Mountain because of the heather, the pub is a old Drovers Cottage It is Dog friendly and serves fresh food to order has local ales on draught. Plus a full stocked bar , definitely worth a visit the hosts are very friendly and Certainly look after you

A great pub in an idyllic location. We stayed overnight in our campervan. Lovely beer, great food - we had the steak pie.. delicious. The couple running the place were lovely and very friendly. Dog friendly too.. perfect.Parking: Plenty of parking space
