Legendary old school boozer serving a wide range of ales all of which are usually very well kept!! Known for hosting live music and open mic nights on weekends. The fella who runs it Paul is friendly and chatty. Can be hit or miss with the crowd . Usually livens up after 2200 on a weekend. The sunn inn is one of the throwback pubs , really throws you back to the 80s era the atmosphere is great and there service is excellent. On the outside it seems like a small pub but as you enter it is a hobbit hole of sorts , I had a great time would always return .
Now reopen again but only in the evenings and even then not till 7.00PM during the week and 6.00PM on a Friday and Saturday. Quite quiet when I visited on a Sunday evening but a good line up of beers available with all six hand pumps in operation. The offerings were Three Tuns Solstice, TT Landlord, Salopian Oracle, Ossett Brewery White Rat and Elland Brewery 1872 Porter with Old Rosie Cider on the final pump.
