“Nice local and very friendly pub with both chilled out top bar, where they have occasional live acts and a lower bar, with pool table, darts and large screen TV for sports events.

Whilst the pub doesn’t directly offer food, it has a Fried Chicken takeaway operating from the kitchens. You order via their website and thankfully they do deliver to the bar without any charge ?. A nice addition when you don’t fancy walking to the nearest takeaway or restaurant.”

“Stayed in the area for 4 days. As we arrived we had a lovely welcome. Nice draft beer drinks and food was very reasonably priced. We even sat out the back in the enclosed beer garden where our dog ran of the lead until he tired himself out. If your looking for simple pub grub then I would highly recommend. Oh and it was nice and clean..”
