This is a great traditional pub with a lovely traditional interior and great service. We sat with our daughter and my in laws in the beer garden. I had the minted lamb burger, my wife the falafel burger and our daughter the chicken goujons. All three were delicious. My in laws also recommended their flatbread pizzas.. I booked the Whistling Badger for an overnight stay as I was cycling up from Cardiff to Holyhead, I had lost my phone and was a bit stressed. When I arrived I had received a lovely warm reception from Emma, she had heard from my partner who had phoned earlier that I had lost my mobile and it was also my birthday. Great beer garden for the warmer months. Just been to a wake there on Wednesday for one of our closest friends. The food provided was quality. Ambiance was perfect for the occasion. What a great way to say goodbye to a near and dear friend. Lots of tears shed but the staff were perfect. Thanks and well done.
