Delightful little bistro, personal service and food that requires more than 5 stars. So much care and passion reflected in every delicious dish. 2.5 hours from home but will be back to eat here.Dietary restrictions: One diner vegan, one gluten and lactose intolerant, huge selection and no compromise in any flavours

If we could give more than five stars we would. We called in on the off chance of a table after showing dogs at the showground all day. We were greeted by a lovely lady who accommodated us even though they were very busy. The food was amazing and so was the service, the young waitress was so polite and efficient. We will most definitely be back on our next visit

Food was 10/10 proper triple cooked chips to die for. And the burger was another level! I will be 100% coming here again.

It’s refreshing to find a small local restaurant catering well for vegetarians, so we made sure to visit when staying in the area. The sesame cauliflower was a generous portion and tasty. The duck leg was good - and we liked the fact that you could choose one or two based on appetite. The wine choice by the glass (red or white) left a little to be desired for a ‘bistro’ and the decor is a little tired in places, but overall a good find in a small town and we would happily recommend a visit.

Had a delicious meal in a lovely setting with great service. What Adam and Nadee have created here is amazing and much needed in the area. Halloumi fries and meatball starters were tasty, the Sri Lankan curry (from an authentic recipe!) was warming and vibrant - I had vegetable, husband had chicken. We both had sticky toffee pudding which was the perfect portion size with a great depth of flavour. We’ll definitely eat here again. Thank you!

My partner and I went to this restaurant on a whim after a long day exploring the welsh countryside and my gosh was it a good decision. We didn’t expect there to be such a broad diversity of dishes, from 21 day aged beef burger to banana blossom “fish and chips”. We loved the fried prawns starter (so much that we came back the day after to have it again)! The chef is incredibly talented. Nadi served us and the service couldn’t be any better. She was very polite and even had a chat with us about the inspiration for some of the meals of the menu. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be coming back here!

A chef that can produce a steak, that tasty, that moist and that tender is a very good chef. Best steak I’ve had in a long time. My husband’s confit duck was equally as good. Would thoroughly recommend.
