Wonderful hosts, really delicious food, smack bang in the middle of a beautiful town. It's a local place filled with genuine people, plenty of choice of drinks. The food is really really good.This place is what it is, it desperately needs a full make over and the owners know this but that doesn't stop it being a gem of a place to hang out.Go back every year regardless ?Food & drinks: There is a wide variety of drinks to choose from, ranging from soft drinks, non alcoholic, obviously alcoholic, teas and coffee.The food is delicious, homecooked, plenty of choice to suit everyone.

New year 2024 plenty of flooding but the staff went out of there way to make sure we could continue on our return journey avoiding all flood's and worked out a route for use which was very successfulNew years celebrations here are worthwhile even if it means walking miles in the rain led by about 30 drummers starting at 10pm ending at about 3am the next dayWalkability: Your in the middle of nowhere but the hotel can give you many walking routesIn the summer you could do organised bog swimming, bog cycling

We had a great new year eves at the Neuadd Arms, they couldn't have been more hospitable. The room was dated and the ensuite was very small but the friendly atmosphere, good food, fantastic party and great welcoming atmosphere from the locals made this an excellent stay, many thanks!

Quirky, friendly and wonderful! An amazing hotel with great host and that rare thing, a bar without blaring music. We had a magical time here and would recommend to anyone who enjoys really genuine friendly service, fantastic food and sweet and comfortable bedrooms. The three dogs were a bonus!Nearby activities: On the river Irfan, surrounded by picturesque roads and houses, very quiet and beautiful surroundings - woods and fields and footpaths. The heritage centre is in a fantastic church conversion, the people who work there are knowledgeable and warm and friendly.Walkability: Stunning river with quiet footpaths and fields around it. Lovely wildlife, sheep, horses, birds.

We booked for a wedding in Llandovery originally we booked to stay at a pet friendly farm, upon arrival was told we could not leave our pet there so we ended up booking here and I’ve got to stay it’s been fantastic the staff looked after our puppy when we was at the wedding took her on walks gave her treats even checked on her in our room, I would 100% recommend you his place of your looking for a nice and pleasant pet friendly hotel

So outdated is an understatement, the only friendly staff were at breakfast. Overpriced evening meals and terrible ales. Toilet,shower room with no catch on the door and the worst shower I've seen. Messed up my booking arrangements and tried to blame me, luckily I had proof on my phone. Fair to say we won't be back.

The hotel has the old ugly scruffy and horror full rooms. In many rooms there was mold on the ceilings and windows. Unfortunately, there are no showers either. It's a daunting hotel museum than a place to stay.

This is a quirky hotel with lovely staff. But the rooms are dated and below modern expectations. Good bar. Tasty breakfast and reasonably priced meals. We have been a few times and the quirky charm is running a bit thin as you can stay in a larger town with a better room nearby for a similar or lower price. We're looking at other locations for future bookings.
