We had a fantastic meal at Drovers Rest while staying at Ardwyn House, just down the road. The chicken and salmon were both lovely, desserts were excellent and the staff were very attentive.
always an amazing welcome with lush food peter is always welcoming and accommodates a range of dietary requirements. sadly wasn't open one afternoon so visited a nearby cafe which was absolutely awful. really looking forward to our booking in march at the drovers

Food in this place was terrific. Unfortunately we were the only people in there that evening but the chef told us that they were full the next two evenings! The presentation of the dishes was really good. Really worth trying if you are on your way through to somewhere else. I'd book in advance.
