Convenient location on the main road. Dog friendly and good options for gluten-free diets.

Please read all...Stayed over and ate last Friday.. I love steak and kidney pudding so I was thrilled to see this rare and beautiful thing on The Trout menu amongst many of my other favourites. The trout version was lamb and kidney and I've never had better. Heather is a propper chef and it shows in all her quality cooking. Daves a diamond geezer and cooks a superb breakfast with black pudding just how I like it with mustard ready on the table? My room comfy , warm and, worth shouting about, THE CLEANEST room I've ever slept in. Going to pop in this May for more brilliant food.Rooms: So clean!Food & drinks: Delicious local meat and really good cookery.

My partner says the pie was one of the best he has ever had.Lots of gluten free items on the menu which attracted us to this pub but unfortunately I wasn't able to eat any of the 'gluten free starters as all there starters are cooked in the same frier as the starts that contain gluten.

Stopped here for lunch on our way home to Hertfordshire from Aberaeron. So pleased we did, pie of the day for hubby and fish and chips for me was really good. Desserts too! Lovely friendly welcome too. Thank

The choice of food is that of a pub rather than a restaurant and chips is served with almost everything. Having said that I have been there twice and have enjoyed both my meals- surf and turf, and a curry and rice. Portions are good, the chips are nice and the food is very tasty. Service was friendly and fairly quick. The prices are good and represent good value for money.

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Trout Inn and had a great time. Dave our host was so welcoming. The room was clean and well furnished. We had a really comfortable room with everything you could need. We had 2 evening meals and breakfasts there and could not fault the service. The food was freshly prepared and tasted superb. Great value all round. Had a fab time.
