Quick stop for a burger and a pint with a friend. Absolutely beautiful food! Burger was amazing and the onion rings were probably the best I've ever had! Staff and atmosphere were both lovely!

Enjoyed a wonderful family stay here. Very homely, friendly staff, large comfortable room and great breakfasts. Location is good too at the gateway to Anglesey.

Food was not upto usual standard on this first visit since covid. However manager took meals away and was good second time around.

A very professional establishment, with all the staff on hand to help out where needed. Well kept and beautifully decorated rooms. Small touches such as biscuits, glass bottled water and a teapot make all the difference when doing a long stay in a hotel. The breakfast is fresh and has everything. The place also has one of the best coffee’s I have ever had in my entire life, literally liquid crack. It is an outstanding coffee. Many thanks to the guys from Anglesey arms.

Only a few yards from the Menai suspension bridge on the Anglesey side & only a few minutes to Bangor by car. Lovely 5-10 walk into Menai town. Great bar & good food in the restaurant. Our room was above the bar so was a little bit noisy until the bar closed at 11pm. There’s 3 Teslas EV chargers for guest use to top up before exploring the rest of the island.

Took my elderly mother for a birthday lunch today, service was terrible...my daughter and I had our food which was tasty, my mother had to wait an extra 20 minutes, which we had to remind the staff that she hadn't had her meal.. the dessert was even slower, I had to cancel it in the end and come from there...disappointing Birthday lunch

Brought a elderly family member for the first time here today one of meal's out of 3 on a quiet day was a slight delay then had to ask for custard with pudding which should have arrived at same time after a delay not the usual service today?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and we were provided with generous helpings.Rooms: There is no lift due to the age and layout of the building so age of visitor might be a consideration for floor level. Also a hand rail and a mat would be helpful in the over bath shower.

We called in for a meal in the restaurant and the food was magnificent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We Wii be back.

10 of us went for food here. There's lots of choice on the menu. The prices are very reasonable. All of us had different food from the menu and everyone enjoyed, I didn't hear a single complaint from any of our party.Service was very good and we didn't have to wait to long for food. Portion sizes were very good and really tasty food.I would definitely recommend visiting here if your in the area.

Fantastic hotel, we had a lovely time in the public bar area, a couple of weeks before Christmas and it was incredibly busy. Good atmosphere, good drinks and the staff were excellent. They staff were dealing with guests, Christmas parties, and the general public in a highly efficient manor. I would highly recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean. Good-sized bathroom with choice of bath or shower. We were on a room-only basis, so can not comment on the breakfast. We did have two evening meals, which were very good. Some nice J W Lees beers. All in all, a pleasant stay at a hotel well-placed to explore Anglesey.

Rating based on the restaurant and lack of anyone senior dealing with a situation. Group of us called in for a Sunday dinner. I chose Chef's roast of the day, Lamb on the bone (lamb shank). The meals arrived fairly quick, and I first tried the lamb with a small piece from the outside, warm but not hot. Tried the spuds & veg, all hot. Went back to the lamb, pulled it off the bone and it didn't look right. Tasted it and it was stone cold.Called over a member of staff, told them the lamb was cold and with hardly a word they took my plate away. In the next 10 minutes, no one came back to our table. After 10 minutes, everyone else had finished and someone came to take their empty plates away. I told them mine had been sent back to the kitchen and they came back after a few minutes to say it would be another 5 minutes. I wasn't willing to wait any longer, so we paid (-1 meal) and left.Had a manager come to apologise and keep me informed, the outcome and review would have been completely different but not one person came to tell me what the kitchen were doing with my meal or how long it would be. There was someone, not in uniform, walking around the restaurant dealing with staff & customers but she didn't even look in our direction.Very poor food & senior staff service.
