Barman was very rude to me and my friends whilst we were here. Speaks to people with a disgusting attitude. However, the lady who works here is lovely and friendly.

Excellent pub, friendly welcome from all the staff. Their knowledge of the local area was fantastic and we were delighted to find such a fabulous watering hole after a beautiful meander through some of this area’s ancient industrial past. One special attraction was the book area where you could pick up a book by the fire and relax.We would definitely recommend and will visit again when in the area. Friends from Cardiff - look forward to seeing you again!

Nice meal in a warm pub after being chilled out on the mountains. Gammon and chips top notch. Too many peas for me but no complaints ! Draught Guinness to wash it down. Very nice.
