I was recommended this fish shop by a friend and have used it twice in the last month, the latest was yesterday. The shop is spotlessly clean and a large cod and chips were cooked freshly for me. I also had a potato fritter and a bottle of water, the bill came to exactly £10. I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed fish and chips so much, well done and a bargain price as well.

Really friendly staff, and truly fantastic food! The fish was fresh and flakey, and the batter was perfectly crispy. The chips were fluffy and tasty, and not greasy. Possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had.
Been here quite a few times and was okish however this time - I was shocked ! Had a queue about 5 people - 2 serving . The one person seemed confused by it all . Came to my order and she wrote it down with felt pen on a very cluttered pad with other orders . When I looked at it - I was confused and so thought well surely she knows what has been ordered ? However I was then eventually given my order and when I reached home realised it was a child’s meal and nothing to what we ordered at all apart from the chips . I phoned and was told ‘ oh I are the nugget order we mixed up’ . No option of money back as we had ordered chicken curry and pasty . Unbelievably disorganised and really does need to be managed much more effectively! Never again as they don’t seem to know what they are doing …. Except the cook of course !
