This is home hosting with all the advantages and disadvantages of that. The family is very friendly and did everything to make us happy. Kudos to the 90+ year old Margaret who welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was lovely. The house is in a quiet street up the hill a little far from the city center but with a car it is not a problem.
Beautiful old vicarage, tastefully decorated throughout, with private parking and within walking distance of the Marina and shops. Our room was delightful, featuring a mantelpiece, TV, desk, iron, TV, Nespresso coffee maker and SMEG kettle, among other things. The bed was so comfortable, the linens so soft, and the room so quiet that we slept like babies! Breakfast was delicious, with interesting options available. We started our Pembrokeshire Coast Path hike from here. Sarah and Richard are great hosts. They allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early. Beautiful furnishings and collections on display. Good recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.
