Myself & my partner came to stay for a 2 night trip in Abermule. For our anniversary night we fancied going to a local and so happy we stumbled across the Abermule inn.The food was delicious we had 3 courses which were all really up there with taste and quality. My partner had the sirloin steak & I had the lamb goulash which we thoroughly enjoyed and my partner says his steak was cooked to perfection.The service was fantastic we were well looked after by the young girl who looked after us all evening. She was efficient & attentive!After our meal we went over to the bar side to finish off our drinks & play some darts. Overall lovely place, food & experience especially if you are looking for a traditional local to go to!

Went with a big group of ladies and had a fabulous evening. I had the welsh rarebit bon bons to start which were very tasty, and the surf and turf tacos as a main - really delicious and the steak was done to perfection Will definitely be back!

Went here for lunch today...and must say I was amazed at the food they provided...Absolute complements to the chef and staff..the food was so professionally cooked, fine dining in a pub is hard to find but this place delivered ? lovely friendly cozy pub...Will definitely be returning.

After several recommendations we decided to have a special family birthday meal here today, it was a large booking and everything was amazing. The food was incredible and so reasonably priced, the tastiest meal I've had in a long time. The service was great and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely outdoor area with a little park for the kids. Couldn't recommend this beautiful village pub enough. We will definitely be back more regularly. Thank you.

I picked this place for my mother in law’s birthday meal today and they did not disappoint absolutely fantastic they couldn’t do enough for us and the food was outstanding. The staff were so nice and brilliant with our kids and to top it off the bill was a lot less than I thought it would be. Thank you so much.

Our group of six friends enjoyed an evening here last night, we tried the new menu (my second dining visit-Sunday lunch also gorgeous) The food came out fresh, really tasty with lovely presentation and overall a really great atmosphere sat in the cosy updated restaurant. Would recommend this country pub which the new owners have managed to retain a really welcoming vibe for just drinks or a gorgeous meal. Will be back soon.

Great choice on menu. Lovely Sunday lunch, but no cutlery on our pre-booked table. Had to ask twice for a bottle of wine and when it arrived the cork hadn’t been taken out! We had nearly finished our mains before the wine came back and then 10mins later another bottle appeared - I think there had been a mix up with the ordering. We obviously didn’t have the second bottle. Food was good but the service needs a little more polish & experience to warrant 5 stars.
