After the flood, the pub/restaurant have pulled out all the stops to get operating again and they've done a great job. It's good to be back! We visited as a group of 9 plus dog for Sunday lunch while staying in the area. We booked ahead & the person we spoke to was really helpful including providing information on the gluten-free options for our friend who is coeliac.On the day we had a lovely table in a quiet corner. The staff were friendly, helpful & attentive. Sunday lunches were outstanding - all 3 courses were fab. 4 of us rocked up on Sunday hoping to try the B&H burger but it was Sunday roast only ??We decided to stay and glad we did, the food was excellent, not the usual dubious quality pub grub we come across far too often. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the desserts too, well worth the trip.we’ll be back some day for that B&H burger.
