Brilliant waiting staff. Friendly, helpful and overall FOH great. As we were a large table of 10 we all ordered separately which is never easy for the kitchen to get everything out together, fully understand that as I work in hospitality, however some of the meals failed to arrive without us questioning. 2 kids meals came out after the adult meal that was on the same ordered and generally a little disappointing. What a great find. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Was surprised by how big the pub was. The toilets were very clean. We didn't have the carvery though many others were and seemed very happy with their choice. My son had the mixed grill and I had the gammon steak. Both were cooked beautifully and the chips were excellent. A very pleasant experience and would highly recommend to others.

It is a very pleasant place to enjoy a Sunday lunch. Staff is always helpful, a nice selection of meats to choose from (with a choice of small medium and large portions, which is priced accordingly). With a selection of freshly cooked vegetables to accompany your meal. I would recommend you book as it is very busy on Sundays, and you may be disappointed if you just expect to walk in and get a table.
