Took a visiting friend for a drink here. We go quite often. Lovely atmosphere, busy on weekends a lot quieter in the early week. It is nice to visit the oldest pub in Newport and see it doing well.
Hands down the best pub in Newport.Some say it's an old man's spit and sawdust kind of place, but to me it's pub perfection.The regulars are friendly and there's never any trouble.Excellent staff and management do the pub proud.Amazing jukebox with some of the best prices on drinks around.
