I spent Christmas Eve with my family and friends at The Golden Lion and as always once again they delivered a delicious dining experience. The service was excellent, all of our food arrived at the same time piping hot which must have been hard for such a large group on one of the busiest nights of the year . We’ve visited several times in the past week and each time the food and service has been exemplary. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever tasted! My wife is still raving about the leek and potato soup, and neither of us are prone to exaggeration where food is concerned. The place itself is so cosy and inviting it’s been a real bolt hole during the never ceasing rain. Highly recommend it.
