I’ve tried fish and chips in several places even port places that should have had good fish and chips but none come even close to Vacara.I asked the owner what his secret was and he said “clean oil and fresh fish” and this makes so much sense as to why it’s so amazing.Love it and excited to eat here soon

I’ve been going to vacaras for many years of my life now with family, by myself or with friends. Generally whenever I go into town I like to grab a cone of chips for myself and 9/10 times it’s always lovelyPrices have gone up everywhere so I would like if it was a little cheaper but it’s still a great chip shop and easily one of the top 10 in Newport without a doubt

We've been coming to this chippy for many years and always have really nice food and the staff are brilliant too.Kid-friendliness: There is always lots of children in there eating. And having a laugh.
