My friends talk about how much they enjoy lunch at Bar Piazza; in John Frost Square so today I joined them. They are right... It's just so relaxed. Italians, Antonio, Rosie and staff member Jamie welcomed us with big smiles. The lunches are delicious; so reasonable and served by Rosie with care and attention to detail. The chicken in my salad and mayonnaise sandwiches was so yummy. I will definitely put it on my regular Tuesday lunch date. It was nice to be greeted so pleasantly....read full review

Some of the best coffee in Newport - far superior to the usual chains which dominate the centre of town.I also had a baguette with Italian sausage, mozzarella, pepper and chilli, which really hit the spot for lunch.Altogether, well worth a visit if you're in Newport.

Bellissimo!! A true gem in the centre of Newport! As a fellow sicilian it is really heart warming to sit & experience a little corner of sicily within Newport. Staff are incredibly friendly! I always leave armed with some cupboard staples aswell from their larder! Repeat customer & will recommend to anyone who will listen!
