The customer service is excellent and the staff were so accommodating when our party of 8 people and a dog spontaneously popped into Cafe Glitz on our way through Newtown. The food and coffees were delicious and our dog was even offered water and dog biscuits. It was a chilly day so we were offered throws to keep us warm. Would highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Lovely place to eat always a lovely atmosphere on this occasion however ..the conversation among some stafff members was quite derogatory about customers that had a query about something once the customer had left or were sitting outside .I paid when I ordered and was just about to leave when the young asked me are you going to pay "love" I immediately told him I had paid a female member of staff when I ordered .I then left but felt angered by the fact that he assumed I would leave without paying and the rudeness in calling me "love' not appreciated

Lovely little cafe, not much room on the inside, but a lot more outside to the rear. Middle of a cold snap, when I went. But provided outdoor heaters and blankets. Even though it was cold, it was still a nice experience. They have an extensive menu but only had cake and coffee on this occasion.

What an absolute gem of a place this is. We had a very warm welcome from Ian, Claire and the rest of the team. Myself and my wife had breakfast there on Friday morning and we decided to sit in their courtyard area as it was a lovely day. The courtyard has lots of snug areas and even had a log burner for people who wanted to be that little bit warmer. Our breakfasts were amazing, complete with blackpudding, hashbrowns, sausages, mushrooms, eggs and I cannot remember what else but everything was localy sourced.Thanks again Ian, Claire and the rest of the team. Great spot for a light bite or just a coffee in Newtown!This little cafe has a lot of character, they offer great coffee and cakes alongside a vast range of light bites and other specials. Particularly good range of vegetarian/vegan options which is great.Can sometimes be hard to get a seat inside however, they have a big area of outdoor seating which is sheltered and has a log burner as well.Would definitely recommend ?

Fantastic cafe, food was lovely using fresh local produce and the kids said the milkshake and the hot chocolate was the best they’d ever had! Really dog friendly, we were given water straight away and the treats were excellent too!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available all day and a range of options included in the selection.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options available for kids food and drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access into the cafe and a slope to the outside area.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, gf options available and you can order off the menu.
