I visited this fish and chip shop today as a tourist and I was so dissapointed. The lady serving us was rude and inpatient. It was £8 for a large fish on its own and chips were £5! The fish was so greasy and tastes awful. The chips were stale amd powdery! Even the seagulls were staying away! Will not be visiting this place again.
We just fancied fish and chips for lunch wish we hadn’t bothered. I asked for fresh fish as the 3 in the hot food counter looked disgusting. Young lady said wasn’t a problem, man came out wasn’t too pleased and asked why she hadn’t serviced those that were cooked. Chips were thrown in the tray and fish on top. Don't even wanna give it one star. Frozen chips and warmed up fish in a seaside chippy. £10 a portion too ??. Lucky my partner didn't want me saying anything, was gonna throw it in lads face for taking the p*ss. Worst place I've ever been...I thought some backstreet kebab place in Turkey was bad a few months back, this beats it hands down.
