The Ridgeway, Lamphey, PembrokeFantastic coffee, salad and pizza in a relaxed environment. I'm coeliac and the staff were really good about what was gluten free. An unexpected bonus as a result of a delayed ferry to Ireland ?

Watermans Arms
2 The Grn, PembrokeThere was very little open in Pembroke on this particular Tuesday in the early evening. We found the Watermans Arms on Tripadvisor and it looked to have decent reviews - despite it not looking very appealing from the roadside. Parking is not available so we found local parking on the streets behind - a 5 min walk.\nThere was a warm welcome from the very casually dressed staff but the place wasn't particularly well looked after despite a recent coat of paint.\nHowever, the meals were hot and tasty and there were a decent selection of options for both food and drinks. I enjoyed the pasta with seafood (it did contain some bits of the shells), the gammon/mixed grill was also an excellent choice. \nIt was reasonable value and I'd go again but it wasn't anything particularly special - casual dining at a decent price. \nThe view was the best thing about the pub. Although we were inside, being right next to the water there were swans and water birds to watch which must be lovely earlier in the day when sitting out on the decking.

Rowlies Fish & Chips
2 Main St, PembrokeBest fish and chips I’ve ever had. Chips were fluffy & crispy not stodgy and soggy . Fish was fresh and batter was crispy . Best curry sauce ever. Take away and go to the river to eat and grab a pint from the royal George - overlooking Pembroke castle . A treat .

Brown's Cafe
51 Main St, PembrokeA little piece of history in Pembroke, that has moved with the times and offers a gluten free menu, and a vegan menu including puddings! I had the vegan shepherd's pie and it was delicious.
The decor is like travelling back in time - absolutely loved it! Lovely, friendly and attentive service despite being busy at lunchtime. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

The milkshakes are to die for - 10/10 and the food was really yummy.

Waterloo House Games & Coffee
Games & Coffee, Waterloo House, 34 Main St, PembrokeLovely café on the Main Street in the heart of Pembroke with street seating. Very good coffee and generous portions of both ice cream and cake, of which the latter was homemade and delicious.
I don't play board games except with my kids, but the availability of a chess board is always a welcome sight in a café.

Mega Kebab Pembroke Dock
64A Bush St, Pembroke DockBest doner kebab and chips I have so far had in Pembs - not greasy and large portions.

Jacks at The Longhouse
The Longhouse Freshwater Bay, East Holiday Village, Freshwater East, PembrokeFood is fair price. Good range of drinks on draft. Plenty of seating. Shame it wasn't very clean. The men's was a state and all tables on the decking area needed a wipe down. Considering it was before the main lunch period when I visited, simple cleanliness is key

The Boathouse Tea-room
Stackpole, PembrokeI had a reasonably good breakfast here. Had a scone with jam and clotted cream, and a coffee, also a bacon bap. The bap was ok, rather dry but tasty. The coffee was excellent. The scone was dry and crumbly; but tasted good enough, although the clotted cream was rather on the stiff side.
It was a beautiful morning, and a robin came to share my scone with me. Everyone around me was friendly and smiley, which made for a mostly good morning. Shame the young man at the counter had a rude attitude — it left a bit of a sour aftertaste. Thankfully, the rest of the experience made up for it.

Pembroke Tandoori
48 Main St, PembrokeWe really enjoyed the very well prepared food which arrived piping hot and more quickly than we had anticipated. We were outside Pembroke and down a little lane that was not the easiest place to find, but this didn't seem to be a problem for the delivery driver. Very pleasant service from ordering to delivery as well as excellent food.

China Garden Takeaway
24 Commercial Row, Pembroke DockJust ordered a takeaway from China Garden and once again it was fantastic. I really believe China Garden is the best Chinese in Pembrokeshire. Thank you for a lovely dinner (I had Singapore chow mein among other things. I can heartily recommend this).

Pembroke Carvery
Common Rd, PembrokeThis is the best Chinese takeaway I have eaten so far in the UK. Also there price is surprisingly cheap. The prawn chowmein is 7.3£ but there were like 7-8 prawns in it. Other shops are not that generous. We also ordered pork ribs and beef sliced which are also very good. The food is super hot as well. And they gave free prank crackers- like insanely affordable.
Staff also very kind ❤️
Highly recommended

Golden Park
4 The Grn, PembrokeI always have a takeaway from here on my birthday, I don't know why some reviews are so low! The foo young is SO good, the only issue I have is there wasn't much chicken in the noodle soup last time I had food from here.
