This is one of our favourite Havens. We really enjoyed our stay, only had the hideaway but just wanted a base really. A great place to visit interesting places. The caravan was clean, comfortable & in a quiet location. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. We will be back in a year or so.

We stayed in an apartment on the ground floor and being able to wheel the pushchair in and out as we pleased was such a bonus. Under the sofas hadn't been cleaned properly, as when I dropped something under them we found dried pasta which we hadn't had. Moving the sofas isn't difficult so I would've expected these to have been clean under. Our sink also disdnt drain proper despite my partner looking at it, it continued to clog up. The pool is wonderful, and my almost 2 year old loved it. When my little one was unwell the staff were amazing, quick to clean up and also go the extra mile to help us. Star points had to go to Daniel from Manchester in the Coast House though. To begin with there was 8 of us, then reducing to 6 and Daniel was fantastic!! He ensured the kids were served quickly and with everything they needed, whilst also having a laugh with us adults. He was fantastic and definitely was the highlight of our holiday! Although busy at times Daniel snensured we were looked after! ??

A firm family favourite for around 20 years. A return trip this week as put a stop to it. It has been a fantastic place. Fun and friendly over the years but seems to have lost its way. With far less entertainment on, late on check in because of "cleaning". The cleanliness was the worst that we have experienced anywhere, ever! It was disgusting, mold in the water dispenser food in the beds and sofa, dirty towels, nappies and used BBQs on the outside of the lodge. Not all, but most of the staff just simply seemed like they would rather be elsewhere. Really poor service for the most part. Ideally located but much more holiday parks in the area that I'd rather look from now on. A place that we have had such fond memories has made for an extremely disappointing return. We would usually get the cheaper accommodation but decided on this occasion to go all out for one of the better more expensive Seaview lodges. So, I expected that the accommodation would be of a better standard. Really disappointing to see you don't get what you pay for. The least we expected was the cleanliness to be on point. Haven appears to becoming less family friendly, it's becoming Butlins, a place where daft adults binge drink without a care for young children.

Just on our way home from a 4 day break. Having stayed on other Haven sites and had good experiences, after reading reviews on this one expected the worst. We be stayed in a comfort apartment with balcony on Bala. Was very pleased with accommodation, and site overall. Litter pickers out during the day. Expect it gets packed during school holidays as huge, but seemed a perfect time to go now. Used the pub by the apartments, expensive but served straight away. Swimming was good, with the cubicles being cleaned while we were there. Didnt book any other activities, as we were all adults. Lovely scenery down on the beach, which was a few minutes walk away. Went to the main bar, about 9pm, plenty of seats, served quickly too. Even though expensive, as all places like this are, we had a good couple of hours there, and no problems at closing time. I would come back again, out of season.

We love this site, we’ve been twice this year for Monday to Friday stays which we thoroughly enjoyed. We always go Haven Hideaway so can’t comment about the facilities and entertainment but anyone who likes walking there is direct access to the costal path which has a small, sandy beach and gives some beautiful views and you can walk as little or far as you want. Hafan y Mor is convenient for visiting Pwllheli, Portmadog and Criccieth and there are lots of places further afield. We always have a Gold caravan which are superb and have allocated parking usually by the door. We’re looking forward to returning next year probably for 2 or 3 short breaks.

Lovely place close to Welsh Highland Railway and various other sites. Stayed in a comfort 2 bed apartment with upstairs balcony. Lovely place to stay and explore from. The beach is nice and sandy and there are some hidden history to find. See if you can find the old train platform?. Lots to see and do on park and off. Really enjoyed my week there

Having read some reviews before I went I was filled with apprehension! However our 2 bed appt was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The whole site is huge and if you have little ones they will have a ball . The only complaint I have is directed at management ..... I abandoned trying to get served after 15 mins in Coast bar . Many queuing and the one poor girl serving was inundated . You need more staff !! Three guys in black were wandering around aimlessly choosing to ignore helping her . I gave up as did others . We had a lovely 4 days there .

Staying @ 26 Cambrian park, Arrived at 1.45pm for our 1 till 2pm check in slot, found the caravan locked up with the new linen & towels in a bag beneath it, phoned reception was told it would be ready for 2pm, I questioned this as it hadn't been cleaned, lady on reception insisted that it had and it just needed approving of the supervisor , I informed her of the linen and towels under the caravan, she insisted that the supervisor would make the beds up, I thought this very unlikely but what do i know, the cleaner not supervisor turned up at 2pm and advised it would take about an hour to clean, we took ourselves to reception to voice our displeasure, reception was full of guests with the same problem, some of whom had actually paid for an earlier check in, our caravan was available at 3pm on entering it was reasonably clean, my wife always disinfects the surfaces anyway, how I long for the days of COVID when the caravans were cleaned to a much higher standard. That being said their was a dishwasher and excellent wi-fi something that's a bit hit and miss on Haven sites, although it does seem to be improving, the site itself is very nice with Ogwen shingle beach and a small sandy cove 11 minutes walk from our caravan, we book stay only so can't comment on the activitys, we would return to this park.

We visited as a much awaited family holiday in the sunny heatwave of early September and we’re blessed with amazing weather, in which to make the most of what the site has to offer. I’ve very much enjoyed Hafan y Môr since I was a child, and over the years it has become a bustling playground for children and adults alike. We also brought my partner who has never been before, and described it as his favourite holiday so far. We went swimming every morning in the pool, and enjoyed the rapids and the slides. The addition of Millie’s cookies being just inside the main entrance provided a nice bakery smell which enticed us to buy cookies after spending far too long drifting round the rapids, simply enjoying ourselves. We also dined in the coast-house restaurant, which has been updated since my last visit to the site and I did enjoy the food. It’s something that I would standalone rate 4 stars, as the food was lovely, but just basic. I find it hard to give 5 stars at the best of times and this restaurant was not that far off. Further into our stay, we enjoyed such amenities as the funzone, showbar, the cove and the many fast-food restaurants available to us. The range of different foods available really has picked up over the years, especially with Slim Chickens now on-site. Their burgers and tenders were absolutely lovely. The funzone arcade is probably one of the areas I would personally say has declined, as when I was younger there was a miniature sort of bowling alley at the far end, which has since gone and been replaced with various arcade machines. But it was still very much enjoyable. Finally, the pine lodge beach, also somewhat known as shingles beach or the ‘secret’ beach, at the far end of the site, was absolutely stunning throughout the week, with barely a day the waves were choppy, the sun beating down on a gorgeous pebble and sand miniature bay with stunning views across to Criccieth and further afield. This has been the first time I’ve spent four days in a ROW swimming up to my neck in perfect waters, and I have treasured memories of this site that will last for years. We will absolutely be back, we’re already planning our 2024 holiday! Definitely recommend for all ages, folks with pets (dogs especially). There is something for everyone.

Hafan y mor is amazing to most family's and the children love the Cove and Boardwalk with Rory! BUT for someone to work for Haven, its a nightmare. We put our blood sweat and tears into Haven and we never get noticed, as a caravan cleaner we don't look like much for us who are basically the back bone of Haven we get treated like dirt, without us you wouldn't get a clean caravan and the main part of Haven is the caravans. So I'm here to tell you Haven is beautiful for the guests but for the workers it's the bad management, we're overstressed and underpaid.

We went as a family of 4 7th August. Firstly we had a silver caravan in herons point . Positives - great location , quite for smaller children , lots of little bunnies about , 5 minute walk to the beach . Negative- accommodation dirty haven needed to come and re clean our van , bins got emptied at 6/7am each morning (noisy) . Food on site - 2 mini marts, pizza cove wasn't open at all during our stay . We lived on pappa John's and slim chickens . No real healthier options or snack areas available ( unless you bought fruit from the mini mart ) Nighttime entertainment- brilliant for smaller children but my 10year old wasn't too interested. Arcades were good but take plenty cash ( cash machines available and change machines accept cards) . The board walk and cover alternate the entertainment . We went for 5pm and got seats no problem Days off site - we did portmeirion, criccieth and Porthmadog. All deifnalty worth a visit Activities- swimming we only did once as the changing room area was filthy . Stunk of sewage , massive clumps of hairs in the drains , they massively need a good clean. The pools themselves we brilliant ( a little cold to start with but soon warmed up) We also played golf, hired a family cart to cycle around the park, kids when on the bungee trampolines, nerf camp and made the sand bottles . All these Activities we enjoyed and found both kids had fun. Personally we would come back but like many others had done , order a food shop in from the local asda . We loved going out and exploring Wales it's self instead of just staying on site every day

Went on holiday in July 28th-31st with our son his fiance our grandson in a six berth caravan, it was spacious and had everything we needed including two toilets one with a shower room. This site is the old Butlins site so I new it was going to be large as i had been there as a child. There is so much to do for the kids and the adults all day and at night the entertainment don't stop and they have a disco every night after 11pm. What sets this site apart from others we had been at was that there is two areas of the park one has all the eateries (Slim Chicken, Burger King, Pappa John's and a chip shop that do an excellent chips with proper curry sauce (chunky and a bit hot). The joy is at night or through the day you can always go on the site app and have the food delivered to your table (the same for drinks) or go and get it yourself. There are two show areas there but if you go over the bridge there are courts to play sports, go carts etc and similar to Go Ape for adults and the same for the kids a pool for boats and a decent place for a meal. Also you can bring dogs here and they even have a dog playground. The pool is really good with flumes and slides and also a lazy river. The only thing that let's this but it the same everywhere is the price of the drinks, you can get a 4 pint pitcher for £16 but I was drinking Madri which was £5.80 a pint other than that the investments they have made on this site make it excellent for families.

Stayed in a sliver caravan, and it was fabulous, had everything we needed, the food around the site is generally good, my family loved slim chickens and papa johns pizza but found the chip shop had small portions. Entertainment is good, i enjoyed it but wouldn't want to do it every night. Have been going here for years and I have found since it was bought over you dont get as much value for money, we used to be able to go swimming every day now have limited swims, i love the area as a whole as there is plenty of things to see in the area, castles and beaches. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We was having a nice time until two male ADULTS thinks it’s acceptable to take 14 year old girls phones out of there lockers whilst on the Ariel ride and proceed to take selfies on them not 1 but 16 selfies! Our girls said they were being flirtatious with them, one of them had her chain in his pocket and when she asked were it was he pulled it from his pocket and said “I was only messing” this chain now has a broken buckle! how they think it’s acceptable is beyond me these two individuals are disgusting and clearly like young girls. I made a complaint whilst there but I don’t think it’s been taken seriously, I emailed the CEO too but yet to receive a response. This will not be getting left!! Pictures of the two sick individuals are attached, watch your children near these two.
