We were staying down the road and visited on New Year’s Eve, staff and regulars very friendly and kids were very welcome. Great beers and service.
Visited again on 02/01/26 for dinner - superb service again and wonderful home-cooked food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nana's Pizza & Kebabs
8 Market Square, PwllheliI came across this place after reading some great reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try their pizza. I’m glad I did! The service was excellent ,staff were polite and welcoming. The pizza itself was delicious, full of flavour and freshly made. If you’re in the area near this kebab house, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a bite.

Arvonia Fish & Chips
29 Penlan St, PwllheliWe had a great experience at Arvonia, the fish and chips were perfect, with really massive portions of both fish and the chips. the fish was cooked to order as it was a busy Saturday afternoon but definitely worth the wait. The service was friendly and efficient.
We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend highly for food. The price was also really good for what we got

Millie's cookies
Chwilog, PwllheliI ordered online and this is the nearest Millie’s branch to Bangor University. I’m so glad Millie’s deliver; I was able to surprise my uni student daughter and her friends with a large box of cookies. They absolutely loved them. Thank you!

Slim Chicken
Hafan Y Mor Holiday Park, PwllheliHad a great visit to Slim Chickens whilst staying at Haven but be aware that it's very expensive for a fast food place!!! We both had a meal and then one side between us and it came to about £36. When you first select a meal from the menu it seems reasonable, and as you go through and select your sides and sauces these items are all added on at an additional cost rather than being included in the cost of your meal. I would say it was probably the best meal we had whilst we stayed at Haven though and really good sized portions. The portion size of the fried pickles was absolutely massive and we didn't even eat half of them! Overall a great visit but do be wary of the sneaky additional costs.

Hafan Y Mor Holiday Park, PwllheliMyself and my family decided to have a Pizza at Papa John's with our order being a XXL Pepperoni Pizza and a XXL Cheese and Tomato Pizza, very good quality and service with myself and the rest of the family taking advantage of the buy one get one free on Tuesdays.

The Whitehall Hotel, Stryd Moch, PwllheliA lovely Friday evening meal. The menu is small but I still wanted more or less every dish off the menu!! So after deciding I went with the pork belly and it was amazing we also had the rump steak and pie which was steak and kidney. Service was great and the atmosphere good to.

The lady (sorry l didn’t see your name) taking orders was very knowledgeable about the cakes & we shared a giggle over having to try them to be able to make recommendations. I changed my order after she described one. The Biscoff caramel slice - wow, delicious and just the right size portion. My friend had the Cream Egg Brownie & said that was amazing too.

We pre booked with it beginning Good Friday which did mean the carpark was very busy and inside the pub.
We did ask the staff if they could move our table as there was a large family next to us which were very loud and the staff did accommodate this.
The were friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely.
We would return maybe on a quieter night.

19 Stryd Moch, PwllheliBest place for fresh sandwiches, rolls and baguettes in town. Lovely quality bread and fillings. Friendly chatty ladies too with a good sense of humour. We had egg mayo and prawn Marie Rose with some shredded lettuce. Delicious. They have a nice choice of paninis too and breakfast stuff. The coffee is best in town by a mile. Awesome flavour / proper coffee. Recommend here. 10/10.

High Street, Abersoch, PwllheliDropped in on bank holiday Monday 2:30pm by chance as all the other places we tried were full. It got busier while we were here. Had a pizza which was really good (one of the best I’ve had). Service was fast and friendly.

During our recent stay at Hafan y Môr Caravan Park, we had the pleasure of dining at The Pizza Deck, and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere caught our attention. The sight and aroma of fresh dough being prepared in front of us made the experience truly special.
One of the most impressive aspects of The Pizza Deck is their massive stone oven, which is not just for show. Watching the skilled chefs expertly craft each pizza by hand and then bake it to perfection in the stone oven was a treat. The process added an extra level of authenticity and excitement to our meal, making it more than just dinner—it was an experience.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of pizzas, and we decided to try a couple of their specials. The pizzas were superb, with a perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness in the crust, a rich and tangy tomato base, and toppings that were both generous and fresh. Each bite was packed with flavour, and you could tell that every ingredient was of high quality.
We also ordered the garlic bread, which was nothing short of amazing. Baked in the same stone oven, the garlic bread had a beautifully golden crust and a soft, buttery inside, infused with just the right amount of garlic. It was the perfect accompaniment to our pizzas.
The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were more than happy to answer our questions and offer recommendations. The combination of fantastic food, a unique cooking experience, and top-notch service makes The Pizza Deck a must-visit if you're staying at Hafan y Môr. We left feeling more than satisfied and eager to return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

The Jewel In The Crown
The Jewel in the Crown 37, 39 High St, PwllheliFriendly service and a tasty curry. I regret not taking the special offer and eating more!
Some reviews complained about the restaurant needing some tlc but personally I like it the way it is as I prefer more laid back and down to earth places. I liked the music in there too. Thanks!

It's all fresh and great quality, not cheap processed sausages, I mean proper farm sausages, fresh thick bacon and eggs to die for. The staff are always lovely and chatty which is nice. Thank you

Blades Deli and Bakery
3 Stryd Fawr, Abersoch, PwllheliAmazing food and well worth the wait. It was very busy due to the triathlon taking place so we had to wait a while for the food and drinks, but when they did arrive they was worth the wait. very friendly staff and we will definitely be popping back for a sausage and bacon sandwich. A little gem of a place.
