Not a food pub. Excellent service, great atmosphere, music was loud but the jukebox was varied. Locals welcoming. No children, very good for adults who want a break from kids. Loved it, recommend.
Me and a colleague popped in here for a few drinks when we were in Rhyl on a recent business trip. What a quaint lovely place it is. Also the locals in there were friendly and a family sat at the table next to us even offered us some chips they'd just got from the take away across the road (not that the pub allows you to eat your own food in there but I think they made an exception on that particular occasion). Myself and my girlfriend went to Rhyl with my family for a couple of days for birthdays and we went into the George for some drinks and to watch the football atmosphere was great the people were really friendly enjoyed our time in the George
