11 Commercial St, Risca, NewportWhat can I say... 9 ladies went to the Tamarind last night, 5* the food was hot and absolutely delicious the bar staff Waiters and Jameel worked so hard and made sure from start to finish we were well looked after, nothing was to much trouble for the fantastic staff, highly Recommend, we will deffinetly be back, thank you to Jameel and his fabulous team ????️

32 Tredegar St, Risca, NewportBack in the 70s I used to go in her sometimes for lunch when I worked at Lloyds Bank just down on the corner. I am assuming this is the same place but it would have changed hands many times since the Italian guy that I knew. I used to have S&K pie and chips that he would heat the pie by sticking it in a paper bag and pushing it onto the stem vent on his espresso machine! It was lovely! Not the ratings for the present place as I now live 5000 miles away but they are similar to what the place gets now!

I've had the fish and chips and also wraps, chargrilled kebabs etc and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food.
