The Cross Inn
The Cross Inn, Gelligaer, HengoedFood was pretty good, nice selection although I really fancied a mixed grill and was a little disappointed not to see it on the menu. The fries could have done with a minute or two longer to crisp up, but other than that we were pleased, it was freshly prepared and pretty quick. The service was faultless too. Not much of an atmosphere as it was pretty quiet which I kind of prefer to be honest.

7 Commercial St, Ystrad Mynach, HengoedTHIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I order here all the time. They do the best food always hot and so tasty. And the chips… oh my word, the best I've ever had. I'm loving their boneless box at the min. You should give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I'm yet to have a bad experience with them. Definitely recommend! Thank you.

Ye Olde Royal Oak
Commercial St, Ystrad Mynach, HengoedI had my 30th birthday family meal of 24 people here and the staff were incredible. They could not do enough for us. I have a brother-in-law that is completely blind and they accommodated his needs and his Guide dog with enormous kindness and respect. It truly made my Birthday one to remember. Thank you to all the staff for everything they do. Keep up the good work and I would definitely recommend here to everyone I know. The food is incredible. Thank you all again.

65 Main Rd, Maesycwmmer, HengoedVery Tasty hot and fresh food, non greasy was surprised at the pancake roll, bag completely dry, no grease and really nice! excellent service from the staff, our shop is next door they are good as gold, one of the best Chinese around.

43 Bedwlwyn Rd, Ystrad Mynach, HengoedHad an unplanned Sunday lunch carvery 24th Aug for 3 adults, a 2yr old ( free of charge) and took a take out Sunday dinner home also. Gotta say would highly recommend, had choice of turkey, beef or pork....so had all 3. Huge Yorkshire pudding, proper home made tasty gravy as well plus lots of choice on veg. Clean, friendly, happy staff and atmosphere. Couldn't fault it plus reasonable price....
