We arrived at this welcoming pub/ restaurant in a barn for Sunday lunch. Through no fault of the owner his wife, the chef had to leave for an emergency of a personal nature. He tried to contact us as we had booked for 5 adults and 2 children for Sunday lunch, to our amazement 7 roast lunches had been prepared for us to take away. Location is great if your staying on site or at a nearby campsite. But is very rural. Food was amazing, really good portions and reasonably priced. Great selection of beers. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. Kids area was fun and wild.Nearby activities: Oakwood theme park

This pub had a great atmosphere all around, the garden was big with plenty of parking or camping, the inside was cosy and friendly and there is even a hidden room for big events that looks amazing. The service was fast, and food looked good. There was even a pool table there.
