This small restaurant is a great place to share some food or create your own taster menu. The serving sizes.are small as the name gives away. But with a starter, a couple of choices from the mains and a selection of deserts to choose from, you won't leave hungry. This was our second visit and both have been a great meal with friendly staff who are happy to help with menu options. For those ordering before 7pm there is deal for one starter (nibble) and 2 small plates for £20. Which is what they recommend for one person. There are some great drinks and cocktails on offer too. We enjoyed a long island ice tea with our meal . Very well made.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps leading into the restaurant as it's on a hill. You will need to be able to get out of a chair and get up those. I ce in the restaurant there is an area where you could sit in a wheelchair.

A very special experience. This food is next level and both myself and my friend have never come across such an amazing menu. Each plate had a uniqueness to it and we can’t wait to hand over more money to this business. Insane!!

The best tapas restaurant I have ever been to! The food was spectacular - the flavours were just amazing with all of the dishes we chose. Lovely ambience and the staff were all fabulous. Such a big choice of cocktails as well! We will come back to Ruthin again - just for Small Plates, and work our visit around coming here again!

Absolutely wonderful lunch with my friend. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant itself is so beautiful. I would highly recommend it. The toilets are situated down a small flight of stairs.

We had a lovely take away meal, I cannot review on the atmosphere as we did not eat inside, but I am sure it will be buzzing. Mum and I used to go to On The Hill bistro a few doors up, Small Plates is run by the same nice couple who owned that Imogen and her husband. It was always good there and great atmosphere, we were so sad when it closed about the time of lock down.Well worth a try folks!
Small but perfect. Food was just perfection. So tasty, and size of dishes were just right. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This place is a must if you’re in the area.

Highly recommended. 110% or minimum 6/5. Tapas - family celebration lunch. We all had different yhings and they were all fantastic. Wonderful. Warm welcome, delicious food, first class service, top quality wines. SO pleased I chose to take my parents here for lunch. Hope to visit again as do they. Thankyou SO much. P.S. be sure to reserve. With everything so great they soon get booked up.

This restaurant is one of the best I have ever visited, period. The atmosphere, decor, staff, food and beverages were all faultless - with the food being the star of the show, Small Plates is nothing less than absolutely amazing. This is definitely the first of many visits for us.
