Nice when they’re open. But I’ve walked up several times to find them shut durning open hours. Phone number isn’t even in service.It’s a shame because it’s the only place in Sennybridge. Won’t be going again.

Would be a good idea if you are not going to open to put it on this page,as drove for 25 minutes from the Usk reservoir, only to find that you were closed. Won,t do that again in a hurry .

For a fish and chip shop, you would think they would know how to cook fish. My takeaway contained uncooked batter on haddock. In addition, the chips were a soggy mess having not be drained properly. A brioche bun chip butty??? Curry sauce was good, but guessing that was bought in. Maybe a bad night, but def not going back.

Large donner meat and *proper* chips for £11. Chips are great. Donner meat is better than most and generous portions thickly cut. Honestly 1 box is more than enough for 2 hungry adults but we tend to get a box each anyway as the leftovers refried in the morning make for an epic breakfast.

After a long hike in the Brecon Beacons we were so happy to find this lovely chip shop. The staff were lovely. The shop was clean and cute in a beautiful area and the chips were hot fresh and lovely. Not really greasy like your regular chip shop shops. Highly recommended. Thanks ?

Very friendly service, good clean chips unlike some places that i have been to in past where they dont the change oil.. Fish and pies also good. Family have been a few times now. No complaints, and very contented local customers, recommended to any other local or people passing through the area.

On holiday just outside the village. Decided to have a chippy tea, so glad we did. Beautiful fish and chips, really enjoyed them. Staff very friendly and funny, also very clean and tidy. Thanks for a great tea.

We are very lucky to have this local to us , the fish is always very fresh with a light batter, best fish and chips around! Plus the portions are enormous so the chips taste even better reheated next day !

I Ordered over the phone was told to ring back in 5 minutes, took 15 MINUTES to get back through for my order, Turned up at the Old Stabels and I was told my one order was no longer available and had to change EVEN THOUGH when I ordered an hour before my pick up time. Received my food and the chips were very hard and undercooked. This cost £18 and is definitely not worth the money and was put straight into the bin! Not happy.

Stopped for some food while heading back to Wilman Woods. Had a large bag of chips...NO KIDDING IT WOULD HAVE FED A FAMILY. Nicely cooked too.
