Ordered food and know one told us to have a free pint with iur food as it was on offer once we asked they told us you should have done it whilst ordering but i alreadt had a pint bought a drink so they said it was too late very dissapointed but the food was

Called in for lunch on 27th Feb. Easy to park. Despite only two tables being occupied and plenty being available, it took a while for the one staff member present to show us to a table. Steak & ale pie tasty but pastry very soggy, tuna mayo jacket underwhelming.

Lomg wait for food but it was worth it.Beautiful dinner, home made, roasties were delicious. Nice range of veg red cabbage,broccoli,carrots, cauliflower peas ,yorkshire, mash, stuffing. The best In the area we will be back.

Went with my 80 year old parents. All had a lovely meal. I had salad as I'm watching my weight , very nice , better than a normal boring salad.
Wonderful farm range of veg, meat etc.The cafe is 8 tables inside and the same under cover outside.

I had the ultimate veggie burger, which was really very nice. It came with a large plate of fries. I was a bit jealous of the others with me because they got chunky chips and they were really nice. My fries were rock hard. With no exaggeration, I can say it felt like I was eating twigs. Very tasty twigs mind you, but they hurt. The inside of my mouth was battered at the end of the meal. The tasty burger, which didn't try to be like meat, made up for the chips.A reasonable price, very quick service and overall lovely food. I will go back soon and would happily order the same. I would just be careful to ask them not to make the fries so crunchy that it hurts to eat them.
