I had the ultimate veggie burger, which was really very nice. It came with a large plate of fries. I was a bit jealous of the others with me because they got chunky chips and they were really nice. My fries were rock hard. With no exaggeration, I can say it felt like I was eating twigs. Very tasty twigs mind you, but they hurt. The inside of my mouth was battered at the end of the meal. Visited for Sunday lunch. Pub grub appropriately priced. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, prompt service.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options eg Mac n cheese, leek/potato pie/veg chilli.

I always chose the Old Inn to meet up with friends for food and a drink. It's always got a cosy feel and staff are always friendly. The young lady that served us yesterday was particularly friendly and pleasant. The food is always very nice also and the portions are decent. Will definitely keep going back to the Old Inn to meet up with friends for food.
