We went here on recommendation when staying in the village and were not disappointed. The pub itself is cozy and was busy on a Monday night - a good sign. Then there was the meal - huge portions of exceptionally good food and the best mashed potato I have ever tasted all cooked by Gareth. We wished we had room for dessert but just not possible! Will definitely return when we next return to the area and would highly recommend.

One of two local pubs in St. Florence. Opens at 5pm with a good choice of food. 32oz Welsh steak shown in picture. Good choice of beers and wines too and lovely staff.

the food was just generally tasty, the nicest steak i've ever ate, was also cooked to perfection - dog friend too!Parking: just a small amount of parking so i would be careful when bringing a large group of people but there is nearby places to park still.

Myself and partner had the most beautiful 32oz sharing steak, cooked to perfection! Our daughter had the ribs which were equally as delicious! If your thinking of trying this place do it!! You will not be disappointed, great food, great atmosphere and very reasonable prices, oh and dog friendly too ?. To add, the Sunday lunch is beautiful also.

Drove through St Florence on way to Manobier and the road felt Mediterranean, a chap was drinking beer on seating right by the road, houses are painted white, looked great. As we left the area we popped in, v friendly staff, decent Spanish beer, lovely feel inside and out.

Fantastic local place where you don't feel like an outsider. Food is great. We were lucky to drop in on the open mike Thursday night and it was a wonderful night with Tom Morgan steering the perfmances. All in all great staff, food with great locals with a huge dash of talent.Parking: Spaces opposite the pub.Dietary restrictions: Catered for gluten free as well as dairy free with no problems.
