In need of a breakfast on our way up to Snowdonia we stopped off. As with so many Witherspoon pubs it is in a beautiful building. The staff were friendly and my American breakfast was
Food is brought in under ten minutes.Tables are always sticky and cutlery always dirty. You never feel valued here. If you want to be invisible then it's perfect here but if you'd like to be noticed as the perfect paying customer you are you'll probably feel hard done by. Sadly food is never ever freshly cooked. Shame

Called in for lunch .. food came to the table in around 10 mins . Boneless chicken.. usually good , however the chicken turned out to be " Luke warm " at best .. some of the chips were undercooked ( almost raw) shame , nice pub. Not exactly " fancy " food .. least you'd expect is for it to be hot when it arrives? ??
