A lovely country inn set in the middle of the village. The excellent landlady is both very friendly and professional. The rooms are comfy and clean, the breakfast plentiful. It's like home from home. There is always a trad beer on tap as well as all the normal assortment of drinks both alcoholic and none.There is a large car park and food is served daily except Sundays. It's a great party venue. Booking is advised for food .
Lovely old Inn at the foot of the Cambrian Mountains, very much a locals pub. Unpretentious but it gives a warm welcome, serves excellent well-kept local ales and cooks to order. Prices are very reasonable too. We really enjoyed our chicken curry with naans and poppadums, plenty of chutney, raita, and just the right level of spiciness for us all. The landlady was lovely and works very hard, mostly single-handed and it’s deservingly popular. Thanks for a lovely visit!

Can't comment on food.I can comment on the wonderful lady who seems to be in charge. She's great.Good atmosphere, always a good atmosphere. It's a bit cramped when busy, that's the only downside.And when I finally tried some Welsh in there, I was supported (and laughed at).A very fine little pub. Nowt fancy. Solid. Good booze selection. Fancy crisps!
