“I am not one to review, but after reading the review below from onair557607. But her review is utter codswollop she hadn't booked at all, they were a walk in!!. She was rude, she grunted at the all staff and was constantly muttering under her breath. The food was amazing as always. Regarding the staff they do have a uniform, Darren is always considerate with this as running around in a busy pub that get hot, he always wants his staff to be comfortable when working. If the uniform is inadequate than that is a you problem onair557607. The prawn cocktail was delicious and the roast beef was succulent all veg was cooked to perfection with just enough bite. Darren, Tom and all staff you are appreciated by all customers regular or not. I'm sorry you had to deal with such a rude customer as per the review below.”

“We arrived in the motohome for an over night stay with electric hook up. The pitch is In between the train track and a busy road but we weren't disturbed by noice. Unfortunately our pitch was too far from the electric point so we had no hook up during the evening as the other pitches were taken. However we did move pitch in the morning and were allowed to stay on site longer while everything charged up. We had the Sunday lunch in the bar. On paper it looked on the dearer side but once the food arrived it was worth every penny. Great Sunday lunch. Good value and a hearty sized portion. Just what was needed to fuel the next leg of the Lejog journey we are on. I would recommend this site for a one night stay. No problem.”

“After trying another restaurant a few miles down the road & being treated rudely, due to us not being from the area, me & my family decided to try here. And we was not disappointed, as soon as we walked through the door the staff made us feel welcome, the food was outstanding & one of the best meals we have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.”

“I booked a table for our party, we were early but you accommodated us. Your team communicated with us clearly and were friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals, I've waited months to have another veggie burger, they are THE best I've had.If there are any critical points, it's the pizza oven being broken and unavailability of some meat on the roast dinner. However there's so much choice on the menu we all found things we wanted.Thank you for a good visit.”
