My sister booked a birthday party Saturday 10th December for 7 people. We had a lovely welcome and were shown to our table and offered drinks. We had a lovely 3 course meal, beautifully prepared and served with attention to detail with great customer service, attentive and easy going. Our second stay at the Lion, and once again it was superb. Rooms are epic; this time we stayed in ‘Fire’ which was super cozy and quirky, with a fabulously comfortable bed. We were a group of 6 friends and had booked in for dinner. The Christmas menu was superb, everything prepared extremely well, and all delicious. I came here with my family for a 50th birthday meal. Grace the manger, was wonderfully attentive - nothing was too much of a problem. The food was outstanding and amazing value. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend.
