Convenient for Cardiff, well located, and average price. However, although it's clear that the hotel does not provde airconditioning, this meant the the room was exceptionally hot. The windows do not open more than a small crack, and it was unpleasant and difficult to sleep because of this. A fan was provided, but until modernised with air conditioning (or portable units for the bedrooms) the heat is a problem. We stayed here last Saturday night. Great location for visiting Llandaff & Crdiff. Hotel is a little dated but rooms were fine. Staff were really helpful & friendly. Disppointing that there was no room for us at breakfast on Sunday morning ...

Always try to stay in Premier Inns as you know what to expect but this one [Cardiff West] is in a excellent position for Cardiff and Barry Island .From the male staff in the Premier Inn to the female manager and staff in the Beefeater[ Walston Castle] next door who were excellent Nothing was too much trouble If i came back to South Wales it would be here Well Done
