“Best country pub, highly recommended. I ate at this lovely quaint little pub for 6 evening in a row. Every evening I tried a different dish and all were delicious. “The Specials” as they were called were such value for money. Usually there was a choice of 2 or 3 specials and although you could order the usual pub grub, I never did as every plate was above and beyond.All the local residence and farmers would come here and within 2 days I was welcomed like a local. The atmosphere was lovely and I will definitely return if in the area and would be happy to make a detour if not in the area.”
