Steve and his team went out of their way to cater for the diverse dietary needs/ preferences of our group - gluten and starch free and vegan, so quite tricky! The service provided was very warm and welcoming, food and atmosphere were lovely.
We popped here whilst on holiday with our Dalmatian. Unfortunately, Steve wasn’t doing food as the whole place was rammed with a private party. We searched for somewhere else without any joy, so decided to head back to the plash for one last drink before going back to our hut. Steve, amazingly, and soooo kindly, said he would find us somewhere to sit, and he would cook for us. Amazing little pub. The owner is so friendly and welcoming and the freshly cooked food was divine. We were very grateful for the kids eat free option at the time and the portions were huge! We loved it all but highly recommend the freshly made onion rings and southern fried chicken. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, it's a little hidden gem. Top tip for parents there is a beautiful park at the end left side of the car park through the lane.
