This is a really lovely hotel and restaurantThe rooms were beautiful. Decor, furnishings highest class, bed very comfy, great bathroom. Really can't fault it.The bar was excellent. Great real ale offer, lots of seatingThe service in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was exceptional, served hot on a hot plate and nothing was too much trouble.Dinner was good, my only issue was our two friends are vegetarian, and the choices on the menu were very limited and then what they were served was incredibly poor and was sent back.All in all a superb hotel. Will definitely return.

The cozy room I was offered was tastefully decorated and offered a sense of comfort and tranquility. The breakfast and dinner were excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. Overall, my stay at this hotel was great.

On Mothering Sunday as a family of 7 we had a gorgeous Sunday Lunch experience. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were relaxed, we were not rushed in anyway. One of the tastiest Roast Dinners we have eaten, portions extremely generous ~ couldn’t manage a dessert as well as a starter!Well done to all the staff❤️❤️Food & drinks: Whether you are wanting a roast or a burger there is something for everyone & rest assured food is of the highest quality.

Absolutely amazing place! Super gorgeous interior, amazing staff and the most gorgeous food!We had the upstairs function room for our mother's 70th birthday today and it couldn't have gone any better. The 2 staff members who looked after us all day were super helpful, couldn't do enough for us and we're super organised. She did so much for us in making the room look stunning with centre pieces and keeping the bar in the room topped up. All food was brought out piping hot and everyone got food at the same time. The food was one of the best I've had anywhere. Every person there today said how amazing the food was and such generous portions.They even set up the projector for us so we could display a video. They were so accommodating. The place itself is decorated so beautifully. Couldn't recommend enough! Xx

We recently had an event for 25 people in the upstairs dining room. The room was thoughtfully designed, with the addition of the beautiful view across the millpond and outside balcony area the whole experience completely exceeded our expectations. Sian was a wonderful hostess, welcoming, well organised and a great communicator. She was discreet and read the room meeting all our needs. The quality of the food was excellent, a fabulous selection of hot dishes that catered for everyone’s needs, we all had a hearty and tasty lunch. The bar was open providing an excellent choice of drinks. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the venue, food and wonderful staff.

Highly recommend the Crispy Squid starter (the Chef kindly added extra fried Chilli & Garlic to our order and happily responsive to customer requests; rare nowadays in this take-it-or-leave-it world but just another sign of good service and a customer-centric focus..!)Didn't disappoint. Recomended.Nearby activities: Ragley Hall is close by, which hosts many events throughout the year including air-shows and the annual Game Fair. Alcester is the nearest town offering all the usual shops and food options.Walkability: Nice dog-walking opporumies close by and pleasant walks alongside the river.Food & drinks: Delicious!
