A group of us assembled for our annual Xmas get together. Very busy, but thankfully, due to its spacious interior, it didn't feel cramped. The old world, wooden beamed interior mixed with the Christmas decor made for a very warm and welcoming ambience. Staff were very polite and attentive, drink and food orders taken promptly. One word. “Fantastic!” We stayed in room 9 for six nights. The room was spacious, well furnished and cosy. We ate in the restaurant every night. The food was consistently excellent and the staff friendly, helpful and very well trained. Finally, the hotel sits in a beautiful location.
