Really nice food. A decent food portion that can fill you right up! Price is affordable and everything is 10/10. I highly recommend trying this place out, you will not be disappointed!

Kashmiri king karahi

Perfect, Ordered due to short delivery time. Will 1000% order again, I ordered a wrong item and the gentleman who took my call went above and beyond to fix this. The gentleman that delivered the food was also lovely. The food was fabulous the Kofta Balti had fresh chilli, ginger and an egg, Keema Naan massive I loved this. Mushroom fried rice fresh and fluffy, Onion Bhaji not oily at all and perfect cooked. lol as u can tell I really enjoyed it and I paid under £16 with delivery. Thank you.

Shere Khan's Star City

My family and I visited this restaurant and ordered the Shere Khan mixed meat combo, nihari, gosht biryani, rogan josh, a selection of lassis and mocktails. We spent up to £100 on food and were thoroughly impressed with the quality.

Our mixed grill included afghani murgh tikka, fish pakoras, grilled wings, seekh kebabs, and more. Each piece of food was well-cooked, seasoned to perfection, and blended harmoniously. For instance, the nihari was garnished with fresh ingredients, giving it a personalised touch.

The salans were also cooked to perfection. The nihari, cooked overnight, was incredibly tender, and the rogan salan was well-flavoured. While I’m not usually a fan of traditional western dishes at desi institutions, my mum loves this one, and I was pleasantly surprised by its taste. The gravy was delicious. I was recommended to come here by my sister in law and I will definitely be coming back.

Kabul Darbar Alumrock Road

A family friendly place with delicious menu items, especially worth mentioning the sizzler kebab platter and the jug of mango lassi, we arrived quite late in the evening, still they welcomed us and waited patiently for us to finish at our own pace, plenty of parking as well.

Ruby Chinese Takeaway

A great takeaway. Well, for what I like anyway. I've tried several other places when ordering chow mein, but this place beats them all when it comes to this dish.
Spring rolls are nice, as is the curry selection. A Very good takeaway.

PIZZA PALACE

I visited this place a few times about 3 years ago and at that time I thought the food was OK. I popped in a few weeks ago as I was nearby late and needed dinner quickly. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Good service, everything was freshly cooked in front of me. Pizza base was crispy with plenty of toppings. Chips were crunchy and well seasoned. I enjoyed it, food was good. Very good value for money too, much cheaper than pizza chains. Have been back a second time and it was just as good. I wonder if there has been a change in management as food is definitely a lot better than I remember. Will definitely be ordering from here instead of domino's going forward.

Brittania Fish Bar

Best chippy in the area by far, we call there large fish and chips whale and chips as you get such a large fish. Tried there large pizza last time 16 inch for £8.50 such good value. Would recommended this chippy as great service and even better value.

Thought I’d add something to make a real awareness of this place for people who visit and future people to visit.

It is simple, is your is average chippy style shop with multi range of foods covering burgers, kebabs, pizzas, curries and pies.

Yes it’s a high street place.

It’s not your 5 star Michelin dine in location or place so take that into account.

Yes it’s various fried food so it will be naturally oily and things are fried on a mass basis.

But I tell you one thing as busy and hectic as it can get the guys really do their best efforts to get it right despite the outside noise and disturbances they will get it right you just have to check and have your own input also. Cut some slack they work really hard in there and they do the best effort to deliver. I have been a various number of occasions and my foods been done to how I liked it. Yes it’s made to their style so it’s expected to be different from others places but that’s the point. New place. New style. New taste.

Yes language barrier might or can be a thing but it’s not hard work with them and they’ll in return work with you to get your food right.
