The review only concerns the parking lot, tonight we stopped for a break and were attacked by dark-skinned men.15/01/2024

I love his egg bacon and sausage batches. I always try to stop on my way to London. As I write this I could really eat some of his food.

Bear with me on this. It's a caravan in a layby, run by 'Kevlar' (a nickname indicating nothing sticks). 'Kev' used to drive car transporters, and had a business called Kar Delivery Services. When he switched to the food business, he wanted a name which would allow the use of the merchandising materials from the previous business (KDS) and hence Kevlars Dining Shack. OK. The food. If you ask for a bacon and egg roll, he wants to know whether the bacon should be crispy or not, and the egg hard or soft. The roll is white, no choice, sadly. You can have butter, but as it's applied he'll tell you it isn't. I'm giving him 5 stars, but I'm pretty sure that a visit by the council food safety people would result in a procedural recommendation or two. If that's a problem for you there's a Tesco in Southam with a cafe which does similar stuff. The menu is based on Kev's experience as a lorry driver - he "knows what they like".DO - ask about provenance - he's proud of the butchers sausagesDONT - lick the sugar spoon !Bottom line - I regularly stop, and always enjoy the food and the experience.STOP PRESS!!! Chips now available !!!

I have always driven past Kevlars Dining Shack in the course of my day to day work. I would never have imagined that my taste buds would be given such royal treatment in the middle of nowhere. I raise my hands in respect to Kev and his fantastic caravan kitchen. Long live the man who’s not only providing an essential service but shows that he has found his calling in life through the passion he has for the job at hand and his excellence in customer service. He has obviously been doing this for a long time because he knows how to deal with customers. It was my first time seeing him but we chatted like old friends. Funny enough, as we were talking someone driving past on the road hooted and waved, perhaps as a testament to the good man that he is. My order was prepared with speed and perfection. I rate very highly the burger I ordered. Wow, Kevlar’s are on their game. Needless to say I’ll certainly be visiting the Dining Shack many times. I have to try the various other options that are on their very comprehensive menu. On the experience of my first visit, I highly recommend this great food outlet.
