Lovely traditional pub. Don't go expecting food though - it's a pub, not a restaurant masquerading as a pub ie trendy "Bar and Kitchen" flannel.Took a walk up from the canal at Cropredy last Friday, took about 50 minutes. Nice seating area out front, rear garden not currently in use. Clean and comfortable. No background music, no intrusive TV, just conversation. Busy with locals and the odd tourist family. Landlord Ken is an absolute diamond. A beautiful, historic building, competitively priced beer and a warm welcome. Everything you want from a pub. When I complimented him on how cosy it was he was humble and gracious and called it his home. Definitely going to be back.
